K R I N G is an aspiring drawing artist from the Philippines. Born in a family of artists, her passion for art has been nurtured from a very young age through several contemporary copies of illustrated Grimm's and Andersen's Fairy Tales. As a young artist, she developed great interest in reading from encyclopedias and classic novels. She was also inspired by Bram Stoker's Dracula, Stevenson's The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray to develop a taste in dark-themed narratives. Despite her overwhelming interest in art, she has pursued a different career as a theater actress for more than thirteen years, briefly became a television host, took up a degree in Philosophy and finished a year in Law. But she still continues to nourish her essential love for drawing and still remains to be self-taught with her personal art style.
